- ScHoolboy's unorthodox Busta Rhymes/Jay-Z/Aesop Rock type of flow (oxy music, nigHtmare on figg st, Sexting, blessed)
- the fact that ScHoolboy sounds a lot more passionate than Kendrick
- the fact that ScHoolboy's shit's more gangsta
- the fact that "H&C" clicked with me like no other hip hop album released in the past 12 months (I happen to relate more to what ScHoolboy Q is saying on "H&C" than I do to what Kendrick is saying on "g. k., m. c.")
- the beat selection

But:

I've given Kendrick's album only 5 spins so far while "H&C"'s got about 50. There's still a chance I might rank "g. k., m. c." higher.
