I remember one Mobb Deep tour that was sponsored by Kool cigarettes. We did a show in south beach, then hopped on the bus to roll out to the next city. We saw some half naked broad with a huge ass walking on Collins Ave, flagged her down and convinced the bus driver to pull. Over for a second. From the second she walked in it became apparent that she was working & looking for $, so we immediately showed her to the backroom and told her "we got u". We had just shot a video 3 days earlier in NY where there was MAD stacks of fake $ fake movie money that we all left with pocketloads of. But the shits looked almost real. She starts talking about $ the minute we get to the backroom , so one of the homeys reaches in & pulls a fake 100 halfway out his pocket, looks at it, then shakes his head and puts it back. It was dark so she couldn't really see that well. She was sure it was real. "Y'all can afford it y'all some big rap stars just gimmie the $". Finally after a couple minutes of the look-into-pocket/reconsider charade the homey pulls out 4 fake 100s, folds em together and hands em to her. she quickly puts them right in her purse without looking and starts handling her business. Vaccums a decent amount of the crew. After wards she's walking out of the bus we're getting ready to pull off she's wiping her mouth & says, " y'all some cool mufukas , what you say y'all name was again, M.O.P.?" We all looked at each other for a second, was about to correct her, then turned to her and said ".uhh..YUP! MOP baby ! That's right. MOP!" She probably got home that night opened her purse and was like " those MOP motherfuckers got me! ". True Mobb Stories. Peace.
