In 2003, Jay Dee aka J Dillla completed an album for MCA Records, which was never released. On the album, Dilla was the lyricist, rather than in his usual behind-the-scenes role of producer. Just this week, the album finally surfaced on the internet, and though unofficial, it contains a wealth of unheard Dilla verses over extraordinary production by Kanye West, Waajeed, Bink Dawg, Supa Dave West, Nottz, ?uestlove, Karriem Riggins and Pete Rock.
