Bodog Music has signed the Wu-Tang Clan to a deal to release the group's upcoming album 8 Diagrams in Europe.
The group signed with Bodog to release their albums exclusively in Europe, with the releases being distributed through pinnacle in the UK and EDEL for the rest of the European continent.
"This is really what Bodog Music is all about: Hip-hop at its highest," said Bodog founder Calvin Ayre. "With the Wu-Tang Clan being the widely respected and revered group that they are, and Bodog's international music distribution expertise, the potential of this relationship in unlimited. Wu-Tang Clan still ain't nothing to f**k with."
8 Diagrams will hit stores in Germany on Sept. 7 and the UK and the of Europe on Sept. 10.
The Wu-Tang Clan will also tour the continent of Europe as a unit for the first time in two years, starting with shows at the Hammersmith Apollo on July 5 and the Manchester Apollo on July 6.
Ghostface, RZA, GZA, Raekwon, Method Man, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa, U-God and Cappadona will appear live.
The group will also hit the road in the U.S. with Rage Against The Machine and Public Enemy this summer. |
