At the time it was just beginning, my opponent, a very respected hip-hop veteran, forgot your own text; the crowd yawned; the camera work was shit. In the end, the reviews were mixed because Russian audiences were familiar only with freestyle and some did not recognize that format. But since battles broke.

My last opponent considers itself known is a vicious child of Eminem and Justin Bieber. He challenged me to battle a year and so it was the most anticipated rap battle. Nobody expected a million hits per day and two million in four days, it Pease*EC. I understand this is a new record for battles.

What is the Russian scene? Do you have a lot of battle rappers and events? What is the difference in comparison with the West?

Russian equivalents SMACK/KOTD/Don't Flop have been made from scratch for the last two or three years. We have three leagues. Smaller, Slovo and Fresh Blood, similar to what was KOTD or Don't Flop in the beginning, with many MCS, whose names are unknown to the public. Now they are consistently watching hundreds of thousands.

I am a realist, seeing the incredible talent in the West, the prospect to change the language (although I freely own it) and starting from scratch is scary. I'm honest with yourself. Also I have a lot to prove and achieve in Russian as a battle rapper and actor.

But I also don't want to relax, don't wanna be like those Russian rappers who are sitting on their laurels to 30 years. It's not about me. And now we have inadvertently attracted the attention of the West, so I would be lying if I said that I don't think starting to read in English.

Are you following the Western scene?

I watched West battle scene since its formation in 2005 at the World Rap Championship and Jump Off battles. Several Russian rappers (those who speak English and follow the trends) sure did their homework over the last few years. Organizers Slovo, PLC and Mr. Hyde, watched a lot of Western battles, I think they even started their own League under the impression from the battle Mark Grist VS. Blizzard. I in turn watched almost all English-speaking scene from Pat Stay and Daylyt to the most unknown names from Don't Flop, and watched German Mittwoch League, which also has a lot of awesome performances.

Is there a chance that we will see you on World Domination 5 from KOTD?

К слову тот же Слово напрочь убирает версус по уровню участников...

по уровню да. Но на версусе было куча знаменитостей типо ноиза там ст, того же мирона, а на слове нонеймы. мирон же об этом писал как раз в плане отличий.

по уровню да. Но на версусе было куча знаменитостей типо ноиза там ст, того же мирона, а на слове нонеймы. мирон же об этом писал как раз в плане отличий.

Нойз баттлился на Слове за пару недель до выступления на Вёрсусе.

Видимо так и будет. Хотя кто его знает, может Мирон ещё сделает мощных треков, но надежда крайне мизерна.

Очень интересно! Захотелось послушать все его альбомы и посмотреть видосы, где он баттлился.

Я бы даже не сравнивал Хайда и Джонибоя. Люди явно не из одного ряда.
